Bristol Zoological Society is a conservation and education charity that operates Bristol Zoo Project. Your support helps to protect nature now and into the future.
Conservation zoos have an important role in educating communities and inspiring people to connect with nature and take action to save animals and habitats under threat.
Our mission is focused on saving wildlife, not alone. but together with people, like you.
People from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to feel connected to nature, and to consider careers in conservation. We want to change this.
For young people in schools and community groups who face barriers to visiting the zoo, Access to Nature provides free education sessions, free entrance to the zoo, and supports the provision of transport and food.
Your support will give children and young people across the South West a memory that lasts forever.
Every penny helps to save wildlife by supporting our vision for wildlife to be a part of everyone’s lives and for people to want to, and be enabled to, protect wildlife now and for the future.
Donations make it possible to continue the conservation science efforts worldwide, from helping re-introduce white-clawed crayfish into UK rivers to working with communities in the Philippines to save the Critically Endangered Negros bleeding heart dove.
Your support will inspire visitors and children to protect wildlife and habitats, deliver education and research, and enable hands-on conservation action in the wild.
Thank you for joining us in saving wildlife together.
